Children, Diabetes and Nutrition - What Are They Eating At School?

After a teacher for quite a few years ago, I watched in horror as the standard of food in school canteens, and in children's lunches, have been reduced. If we believe that food is fuel for sound reasoning, brain development and physical energy, it is clear in the absence of children.
Think about the trust that is the holder of the teachers
The reality is that parents send their children to school to care for and feed on the academic, physical and nutricionistički.Tri are co-dependent. We can not take any of them out of the equation.
in many ways I'm doing pretty fine job of teaching basic subjects. Under gentle way, children become a successful writer, convinced mathematicians, curious scientists, environmentalists awake and much more.
as teachers, we ensure that they have their daily dose of the sun and physical activity. Where we fall heavily in the field of nutrition.
Look at their lunches!
If you look in the children's lunch boxes, you will find a multitude of non-food 'food', and in all too many cases, precious little live food.
This may be the case that parents are simple, understandable, ill-informed. Let's face it, there is a wealth of persuasive advertising in the media out there that suggest that many processed foods, with their added this and determined to be so good for our children in the developing world.
parents buy the hype. They die in their children's requests, and give in to peer-pressure.
Do not rely on school cafeteria food?
All this is bad enough, but now, with a growing reliance on school canteens time poor parents to provide lunches and morning teas, it seems to me that schools should be better informed about the foods they sell, if you want to our children have some protection from a growing number of autoimmune diseases that are plaguing our children.
Some of the items for sale in school canteens are simply the bottom-of-the-barrel, commercial fare that is so denatured that begins to wonder where this could take the kids in terms of future health.
of corporate greed has won care about your health.
In such a tender age, children's palate has become too spoiled chemical colors and flavors, the freshest seasonal fruit that does not appeal to them. Where is the conscience of a step in which our children are concerned? Who can be their spokesperson?
Be wary of potential diabetes
I do not claim to be authorities on diseases such as diabetes type one, but I have witnessed a steep and worrying rise, a pandemic, if you like, the disease that was not here ten years ago.
It is not uncommon to witness in most schools, children line up outside the medical room, waiting for their medicines.
In addition, the Diabetic Association provides these children are highly processed foods as part of its parts!
Who says there is no cure?
Now we are told the medical fraternity that there is no cure for Type One diabetes. They say that the causes are not related to diet.
So how is Victoria Boutenko able to completely reverse the son of Sergei Type One diabetes through natural, raw-food diet? Not to mention Dr. Robert Young, who was also reversed a boy, Gabriel Roman diabetes have him follow the alkaline diet regime.
I do not want to say that the children put on a raw food diet. What I do suggest, however, that we have a ruling system that dictates what can and can not feed the children when in school.
It is clear that we can not mandate what parents feed their children at home but at school we have a duty of care in this day and age, we should follow.
